Just Kill Me

Just Kill Me

A Poem by Folagbade Muyiwa

Oh the depth of peace
Welling the sweetest of emotions
Not overwhelming though
Rather enchanting.……
I am induced with ecstasy
Equalled with glee
Branded with affection
Interwoven with a great deal of ardor
To make home
This sphere of influence
That has clasped my bosom
With such an intense embrace

Enchantress of the witty mensch
Excellent in pull
Magnificent in countenance.
I should have not espied your presence
But I am elated by the seduction
That has put the kibosh on my hankering
For a face that beams with laughter
A cackle that incites a rhythmic pulsation

Seventh heaven has appeared
And my members have responded
To the beckoning tune of your utterance,
Echoing in my tympanum.
I can't but hear you
Even while jamming.

I am activated
Stimulated to behold
Beholding your sacchariferous beauty,
Drawing me in
Into that profound ecstacy
Barefaced in your magnified bliss

What is most amazing is?
The sonority of your elocution,
Your dauntless mastery,
Your never-morose quintessence.
Statured..............
Fit together like the palm tree.
Unable to find my way out of your furnished island
And locked underneath the mass of your elegant ambiance.

Am I in a fantasy lake?
Or is it a daydream?
Is it one of my dreams in the day?
Or one of my out of the ordinary night dreams?
I can't tell right now
'Cos I am still trapped
Inside your optical organs
And I don't know if I will leave soon.

The day is dawning and you are yawning
But all I see is an opening
Spelling out my name
And all I hear is a sound of music
Resonating to the tune of my snorting

And finally, I am awake

Kuku kee me
