Black lilies

Black lilies

A Poem by Folagbade Muyiwa

Who are these that I see
For every moment that I can see
Springing forth glee
Standing tall like they be OC
Their beauties be
Uncensored out of the sky and to the sea

Black and beautiful
From head to cuticles
They are bold and dutiful
And everything is suitable
When they become multiple
They're tasty and its indisputable
Oh! Wit, unreducable
I mean it, they are nimble

They are the blacl lilies
Keep on shining ladies
From west to the east
Round about every reach
You see them dazzling brainees
They be some balms with soothings
To every heart with bruises
Black ladies are the best sweeties

Our lilies are spectacular
Yes! All over the universe
From north to the south area
And from east to west Africa
These babes are original
Alek Wek, Nyogo'o Lupita
Angel Melaku and Omotola
Carried with grace, we know they are
Beauty lies in Africa

Its a nice one. I feel you could have made it obvious you are talking about black ladies without actually mentioning it. Try to play with our minds. Leave us to do the maths in our heads.
