Someone, The One

Someone, The One

A Poem by flyingfree

I wished I had someone to hold my hand
To talk to and laugh with and kiss
To walk on the beach, side by side on the sand
And watch the quiet waves come and go
Then one day I found someone to stay by
We roamed on the streets hand in hand
We laughed and we argued, but we saw eye to eye
We shared ev’rything that we loved
But Fate was so fickle and heartless
And made her see nothing in me
Now to her I was boring and artless
She left and she never turned back

Again I am empty and yearning
Still waiting for my perfect match
Naive, new, and still learning
Exactly how fickle Fate is

It's a lonely feeling wandering for love.i think that's why when we find it , it's hard to let go when relationships end. Just know by writing this you are not alone.
