DevastationA Poem by flyingfree
Lost at a cost, wind- and storm-tossed on a path crisscrossed with frost
No longer sane, the weak link in a chain, history bloodstained In my tears are smears of years, once clear but now full of fears Hidden emotion, an ocean without motion but underneath is roiling commotion False impressions, questions freshen with no directions, lost time is precious Ominous whispering, feeble heart quivering, picturing misfortune quickening Abrupt obliteration Ending agitation No time left for reflection There was only Devastation. © 2017 flyingfree |
