STOP EXPECTING

Stop trying to be someone others expect you to be because expectations never end and satisfaction is never attained!

STOP EXPECTING that I can conquer the world,

STOP EXPECTING that I can stand all alone,

STOP EXPECTING that I will strive for the best,

While striving for the best I have made my life hell!

 

JUST FOR THE SAKE to be who you want,

JUST FOR THE SAKE to always choose the right path,

JUST FOR THE SAKE to be your good child,

I have forgotten how to live my life!

STOP EXPECTING that I won't break down,

STOP EXPECTING I'll be your lifelong clown,

STOP EXPECTING that I'll live your unfulfilled dreams,

I have a life of my own, my own dreams to achieve!

Oh flutterby, one line alone stopped me in my reading tracks.."stop expecting that I'll live your unfulfilled dreams" Some try to force what should of been for them onto their children. Everyones an individual with hopes and dreams all their own. They have every right to say stop, this is my life. A be yourself writing, and i love be tourself writings.

A lot of times people expect certain things from people, but we need to remember that we are all weak and we all make mistakes. We should help and encourage them instead of leaving them with a heavy load on their shoulders to carry. We all need to learn to make our decisions and learn from our mistakes and try to make better ones.
