I Miss You

Hey bestie......Where are you now????

As I walk on the road all alone 

I am reminded of those times

When you and I used to walk together

And live the best out of our lives

When we used to Laugh together

When we held each other and cried

When people turned their backs on us

But we were always by each other's side

Where are those times now?

Where did those days go?

Where are you my dear friend?

Once again, I'm reminded of you as I walk alone!

This is a short poem i have written for my Best Friend......Rhea yaar...... teri yaad aa rahi hai! Hope she likes it and so do you all!

This is a bittersweet poem...memories can be cherished yet they also can bring a type of sadness, missing the way it use to be. You did a wonderful job writing and making it flow with emotions in each line. I do like the picture you used also.
