Embracing Happiness

Embracing Happiness

A Poem by Alisa_the_fluff_ball
"

Getting used to love after a life of pain.

"

The material scent is weakening her will.

His smile intoxicates her eyes,

As his words intrigue her lips.

A touch of heaven upon her skin erases all thought and worry.

Hope is burried deep within his icy blues.

Falling into his kiss,

She is forgetting the passion of rage.

Bodies intwined like red and black roses,

They are pain-filled purity.

A fire ignites in their hearts,

And they silently take the vows of forever.

Wow! This was such a stunning write. I thought that your wording in this piece was completely captivating, in particular the lines "Hope is burried deep within his icy blues./Falling into his kiss,/She is forgetting the passion of rage.". I loved the fact that you were able to balance the dark and grim side of lust with the total beauty of romance. The only mistake that I noticed was that 'intwined' should be 'entwined', but other than that, this was an amazing poem. :)

I like this feeling of a new, re-found hope.
You can tell me a story and have beautiful, clear images with just a few words.
Wonderful.
