The Last Things I Need

The Last Things I Need

A Poem by Alisa_the_fluff_ball
"

I'm trying something different in this poem. It's about Lenne and Shuyin (in the pic) from Final Fantasy X-2 the video game. Yes, I know I'm a dork, but humor me. The poem can be from both of their perspectives.

"

Your lips are

The last thing

That I want

To taste.

Your hand in mine is

The last thing

That I want

To feel.

Your eyes are

The last thing

That I want

To see.

Your words are

The last thing

That I want

To hear.

Your hair is

The last thing

That I want

To smell.

"I love you."

Is the last thing

That I want

To say.

Ok, just to give you a little background on Lenne and Shuyin....They were lovers who met a tragic end. They were both shot together, and the Lenne's last words to Shuyin were "I love you." However, he never heard them, for he had already died.

I love you. This is so simple, and honestly this is probably one of my favorites from you. This just reminded me of my own tragic story (you know know what I'm talking about....the book... >.> )

I pictured them so well. I love this so amazingly much babe. WONDERFUL JOB!!!

On a closing note... TIDUS!!!!

OH!!! I'm gonna go write one from Tidus's POV!!!!!!!!!
Thank you my lovely little love.

Love, love this.

oh my gosh! I hope you are talking about Lenne and Shuyin from final fantasy x-2 becuase if you aren't then you probably won't have any idea what I'm saying. I loved how you related this back to their story, and I'm glad you did. I feel that is described it soo well with deep emotion and very good expression. Great job. :)

OMG. That was such an amazing write! Although I have no idea who the hell Lenne or Shuyin are, I really liked the concept of this poem! =P My heart was seriously pounding the whole way through, and I felt like it was going to stop when I reached the end! It was so tragic, yet so heartfelt, and I think that this piece really epitomised what it means to love, and be loved.
A beautiful write,
