A Poem by Alisa_the_fluff_ball
"

Self-explanatory.

"

You noticed me today.

Even said my name.

But you took away a promise.

That was keeping me sane.

You noticed me today.

But you didn't see the pain.

In this world of constant illusion.

Am I the one to blame?

You noticed me today.

As my heart lay slain.

You gave me fleeting sorrow.

All my hoping is in vain.

If you notice me tomorrow,

Please don't say my name.

I apoligize for the shortness! I wanted to make it longer, but it just didn't happen that way.

Can absolutely, totally, relate.

Short and sweet. Amazing.

My love, you do have way with words.

the length is fine in my opinion. this is a really well penned piece. getting across a very strong message with a talented use of - and smooth flow of - limited words. i really enjoyed this.

well done indeed :)

I like the idea but it seems like it cuts short in the last paragraph? Like it doesn't flow?
