Don't

Don't

A Poem by Dominik D. Rites
"

A representation of depressive thoughts.

"
Don't do this again.
The only good,
that can happen,
will never happen.

Don't try to smile.
You have been,
insufferably sad,
for a terrible while.

Don't open your heart.
Simply everyone,
kind or unkind,
will claw it apart.

Don't show them.
You don't feel.
The happiness you wear,
could never be real.

You'll never bear,
long enough to heal,

so don't.

Just some thoughts that I've been having lately. I can only hope that they'll subside.
