Losing My Way

Losing My Way

A Poem by Trenton Colburn

Follow her
This path is not sound
Many have been left, most unfound

It's dangers are many, cold stone surrounds
Lost i am
My heart loudly pounds
If i am alone, who should come to my aid
No one will come,
I will not be saved

Thoughts wander, panic comes back,
A will to live, i start to lack
For i may be alive, but that want to live?
I'll send that away, a way out give

Lost. Found.
Two words in my head,
People's voices leave unsaid

Lost and Alone
Fighting the Fear
Remembering any hope,
wishing ones near
and they do come...
they say hello,
then they leave me, like melting snow
I see them in my dreams, wanting them to stay,
wishing away light, light bringing day
But i will wander, and i will walk, until i find a path
Tic, Tic, Tock
