Sometimes I will just smile

Sometimes I will just smile

A Poem by Flower

Sometimes I will just smile,
I do this instead of speaking,
Because whilst my mind is vile,
My voice will just end up creaking.

You ask me to express
What is happening in my mind,
I'm just a giant mess,
Hoping you'll leave it behind.

Sometimes my hands will shake
As I struggle to get dressed;
This time I'm going to break,
So you pull me into your chest.

Feeling you makes me forget
All my insecurities;
With you, I will not die yet,
Despite all my impurities.

I pull you nearer,
Wanting to feel my skin against yours,
It's all becoming clearer,
Maybe I will try the cures.

Despite the warmth I feel,
My feelings are still unexpressed;
It's really hard to heal,
When I'm still not feeling my best.

Sometimes I will just smile,
I do this instead of speaking,
To allow you peace without rile,
For my problems are slowly leaking.
