Tell me

I don't want someone to tell me 

that my sad life will get better

Or that one day I will be free.

But I do need someone to tell me

 That to is okay to be sad

From my issues I shouldn't flee.

I don't want someone to tell me

That being negative is bad

Or how much happier I would be.

But I do need you to hold me

And tell me that I have been strong

And that it is okay to plea

Or even sometimes be so wrong.

If you are really depressed, it does not matter what anyone tells you, because you are going to be sad. There is no OK or not OK about it, you are going to stay that way unless you get help.
