Maybe

Maybe

A Poem by Flower

Maybe if I had a beautiful face
I wouldn't be the one who cries,
Maybe if I did as people advise,
People would forget me in that case.

Maybe if I could have a slim body
That I don't have to constantly hide,
Maybe if I had inexorably died,
It would benefit everybody.

Maybe if I didn't cry all the time,
Or pick at my hands when I get scared,
Maybe if I don't pretend that others cared,
All that would be left is my sad rhymes.

Maybe, just maybe, if I were to die,
If I were to stop burdening you,
Maybe you'll finally find somebody new,
Someone who isn't useless and won't cry.

Maybe..
