Walking in the rain

Walking in the rain

A Poem by Flower

Sometimes I like to walk in the rain,
Each droplet conceals many tears,
Together they hide a world of pain,
That has been held inside for years.

As I observe each person walk past,
No one ever seems to regard,
My many tears, that are often vast,
Why is asking for help so hard?

Am I too f*****g complicated,
For anyone to even care?
My sad death has been long awaited,
I doubt anyone will despair.

Until I wait for that happy day,
I will always continue to walk,
tears streaming down my face as I say,
"Will my life fade each time we talk?"

Exquisite rhyming in this one. The imagery of the rain communicated well the sadness of the speaker. We can sense the desperation. Well done.

Sad poem. Your first stanza really sets the scene and the imagery is strong. The best way to disguise tears is by walking in the rain or crying in the shower. I know, I've done both. It's strange, but people are too embarrassed to approach strangers, even if they have empathy with them. Even family can be too busy at times to notice. If you want help nowadays in this world, you have to ask for it. This poem is written well. Keep on with your writing.
