Lost thoughts and deleted texts

Lost thoughts and deleted texts

A Poem by Flower

I wonder what may come to pass,
Of lost thoughts and deleted texts,
For I shall never know, alas,
Concerns of it make me so perplexed.

If they were here, what would they say?
They'd question my decisions,
As I had perhaps done to them,
Dismissed them like they were a stray.

I beg them to come back to me,
Maybe they were possibly right,
How happy I could perhaps be,
If I said what I felt downright.

I like this poem. One word comes to mind as I read it, regret. The poet seems to have made some decisions, probably pushed away people she really wanted to keep around, and now he/she feels like they've lost the chance. The first line though, makes me think the poet is still waiting. Like the consequences haven't hit yet. But maybe not knowing is the consequence? I like your rhyme scheme, and how you changed the middle stanza. It made the reader slow down a second and take in the words. Almost like we're doing what the poet should have done.
