The girl

The girl

A Poem by Flower

I fear that I am all alone,
Haunted by all my past mistakes,
Although, not many will have known,
that I'm the one whom always breaks.

I'm scared of what is yet to come,
And what will be left of me,
Will I be forsaken so glum?
For I will never be carefree.

I'm frightened of all my errors,
Fearing that others will hate me,
For inside my mind is terrors,
Of others judging as I plea.

"What happens now, I do not know,
Will I dread my life consistently
I never grow out of this state"
She says to herself distantly.

I am the one whom wears the masks,
The girl whom is never content,
I am the girl who always asks,
Could one give up their life for lent?
