The Symphony of Broken Hearts

The Symphony of Broken Hearts

A Poem by FleetingReveries

This broken heart

Sings its sad song in my head

This particular part

Is better off unheard

The way it writes the words

Is a long lost art

Filled with such beautiful cords

It is bitter and tart

This is really good. I like that it is short. Shorter poems are filled with more emotion due to the fact that each word is so carefully choosen to get the point across. Your rhyme scheme is almost very nice. I, myself, have a horrible time with rhymes. :)

The only thing I would suggest is adding punctuation. The use of punctuation tells the reader when to pause and allow the writer to dictate the flow of the piece rather thatn letting the reader decided for themselves.

All in all this is really good and I really enjoyed it.
