Broken heart and Cracked smile

poem about a girl with a veil around her heart, she is blindfolded and doesn't realize that once she opens her eyes, she'll see someone is out there...

Innocent girl, no cracks or holes in her beating heart

She goes through the harshness and toughness of life,

Her heart gets broken,

Her smile cracks,

Her eyes hide the truth now,

Her hands, her wrist

Full of cuts and scars!

Full of flaws now

If she only knew

That she isn't alone

Someone around cares,

Someone's ready to kiss her scars and ease the pain

Someone who accepts her with all her cracks and missing pieces

If she only looked through her blurred eyes,

Through her pain

She'd see that person on the other side

Looking at her with the eyes wide

With both the arms and heart open

To hold her when she breaks down

To make the ache disappear

Or at least try to

If she'd only look beyond her broken heart

She'd find the person who's been there all along

Waiting for her

To just open her eyes
