I'm the kinda woman who embraces
Who takes chances and faces
The pain and the sorrow
Which empowers my heart and my soul to grow

I see the wisdom in feeling every emotion
At times delving into the deepest of oceans
For my choices, right or wrong, I hold myself accountable
But I will not take on yours out of a claim that you're unable

I've seen and done much to make me strong
I find meaning and relate to many a swan song
At times I've fought to find a reason to stay
Embracing my soul has given me the power to walk away
