Something inside me still calls out for you

I try to silence that voice       

to maintain my view

 

On my path       

from which

Masking yourself in apathy

How can I still feel       

connected to your spirit

 

I must be insane       

                       or coming damn near it

 

Is this a dream...

      feeling your thoughts              

calling out to me

I refuse to look       

at your pages              

I refuse to see

 

Why do I still want you

      

why do I still wonder

 

What is this spell

                           that I am under

 

You are gone       

and

my

heart

                     you took

 

For sanity's sake

                     I'm

going

to

a

book
