Lonely In My Own Mind

I just wrote down my thoughts...

Lonely in my own mind

I stand alone in this vast wilderness

I call out, but only my own voice echoes back

Until they begin to speak

 

They call my name

They ask me questions

They type these words

They scream to be heard

 

But still I am alone

Lonely in my own mind

I cry out to these voices in my head

I run toward their sources

 

I plead for them to answer me

To stay so I may see their faces

But they will not answer my calls

They will not heed my commands

 

Still they chatter endlessly on

But I have no one except myself to speak to

They speak simply to hear themselves

Simply to make me hear them

 

I am lonely in my own mind

I just wrote down what I was thinking and it came out like this... Any feedback/criticsm is greatly appreciated!

I feel lonely in my own mind all of the time! Sometimes I'll even doodle aor write and i don;t even know what I'm doing! And, lets face it, we all have heard 'the voices' before. And even with them, we are lonely. We are seperated from other humans. We are different from them. We are the people we want to be. We are the people ruled by our personality. We are the people of insanity.

A head full of muses that refuse to respond...I think most writers feel that way at some time. Writer's block can be followed by several poems coming one after the other. That's how it goes with me anyway. This is a good write...I enjoyed reading it.

LONELY IN MY OWN MIND. SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING I WOULD WRITE. AND ANYTHING THAT I WRITE IS AWESOME BECAUSE I WROTE IT! LOL. BUT THIS IS VERY CREATIVE AND YOU KNOW WHAT! IT'S TRUE! I'VE BEEN LONELY IN MY OWN MIND B4. AND THEN YOU HEAR "VOICES" OUT OF NOWHERE AND WORDS START TO FORM AND THEN...POETRY HAPPENS. AND THAT IS WHY THIS IS SO GREAT! LOVED IT.
