A Poem by Robert Trakofler
"

I often say the real measure of a life well lived... is how many hearts you have touched. I have said this to her many times even on the day before she died... her legacy is indelible!

"
The thing is

then the smiles
of heretofore
from the hearts
of true adore.

The treasure
of your implore
beyond measure
will endure
your precious heart
will beat no more
but your pulse
forevermore

The thing, is
no things
really matter
as your smile
shall underscore
this loving heart
that gives restore

A very beautifully inked tribute to a lady and a dear friend. I am sorry for your loss, dear poet, but I feel this lovely lady in Spirit will always be with you until you both meet again and celebrate your friendship together! Thank you for sharing...

Billionaire or pauper, you are so right that it matters not. The real legacy can only be truly measured by the beloved memories we leave behind.

Such a lovely, lovely poem Robert.

People who live a long life are admired the most. Their innocence and wisdom can be felt long after they're gone. You have my sympathies, Robert.

You do have a unique style, Bunny. You have captured what was most memorable about this elderly lady who is no longer with us. I don't know if she was a relative, but she evidently brought joy to those her life touched. A very nice memorial here.
