Cast Out

Cast Out

A Poem by Firequeen

Cast back out into this cold and lonely world
Nothing but a hollow shell of who I once was
No happily ever after in sight

The light out side begins to fade
with it my dreams become a distant memory
Strangled sobs escape my once smiling lips

I have paid the ultimate price for past sins
On my knees pleading for a reprieve
Alas the silence is deafening

Insanity grows with each passing second

I let the cold fingers of darkness consume me

engulfing me in thier rage

anger courses through my cold body

Igniting an unstopable fire within

Undeniable anger running through my veins

I Wipe my mascara stained cheeks dry

Stand and hold my head high

knowing I will once again bathe in beautiful music
