My Strangled Heart

My strangled heart cry's out for release
This noose tightens by the second
Every breath becomes more labored
Every word spoken soaks into my soul
Crushing my already thinning sanity
No end in sight
No light at the end of the tunnel
Mouth taped shut
Hands bound tight
I lay broken hearted
Closing my eyes to what comes next
