Sifting through my childhood pictures
remembering all the good times we had
I have been blessed with a beautiful family
I always knew love and kindness
with a mixture of parental guidance
Fun and laughter always present
I laugh as i think of Abby with her frog
Man how we loved that dog
warm memories of hot Cris buns
Little faces drawn on dads thumb
A day at the ball park with fly balls
Oh man that looks like its gonna hit crystal
mornings I remember having crapes with mom
Picnics together with dads squadron
A witches hat where I almost lost my front teeth
Mowing the lawn with out the mower deck down
Oh no I've gotta do it again
All these memories and so many more
I have stashed away in my heart
They remind me of how blessed I truly am
to have such wonderful parents who love me
