Do you feel better about yourself
Are you feeling victorious
Satisfied with yourself
You took all you could and more
Gave me next to nothing in return
Built me up only to tear me down
You fed me your lies by the spoonful
and I swallowed every mouthful with ignorance
Deceived me at every turn
then expected me to look away
while you stripped me of
what little dignity I had left
Left me bleeding and scared beyond repair
