Wake Up Call

I sit here drowning in all 
my hurtful words I said
Knowing I was in the wrong
Knowing I hurt you
I never wanted that
I only wanted to love you
the best way i knew how
Am I too broken myself 
to love you the way you deserve
I bow my head in shame 
as hot tears slide down my face
I sink to the floor
in the harsh reality
of this wake up call
