My Sinking Sanity

The waves of reality crash over me
So much to do, So little time
The thoughts swirl in my head
Dragging me down further
The ache in my heart 
grows with each passing second
I strive to reach my goals
to prove them all wrong
Am I fighting a battle I can't win
It feels as though the
odds are stacked against me
As I try so hard to hang onto
to my already sinking sanity
