Twisted Insanity

As the world around me spins
I feel as though i'm standing still
while the rest of the world continues 
to live and breath at a regular pace
I'm barely existing in suspended time and space
Finding it hard to catch my breath
You latest assault has left me reeling
I cant feel the ground below my feet
I feel my sanity slowly start to slip away
I can hear my heart breaking within my chest
The temporary bandages you placed over my wound
fall off and leave me exposed and bleeding
My soul screams for you to stop torturing me
I lay battered and beaten wondering
if this vicious circle will ever stop
