The Magic of NightA Poem by Andrea
The forest of trees, the solitude of grace.
I walked the path that I was meant to lead. The magic of the pine, the simplicity of green. It touched every bone and it made my heart bleed. A feeling of being overwhelmed under the night sky. The stars sparkled above, many miles away. The moonlight highlighted my surroundings. I'd take the night over the day. The calamity and peace of the forest, the forest was my escape. I got lost into the enchantment. I could feel the magic embrace me. The wolves howled and the owls sang. I kept following the leaves that crunched beneath my feet. I looked up at the crescent of the moon. I saw a shooting star and my heart rang. The glance of hope was sparkling. I daydreamed of a moment like this. The glistening of the lake in the distance. It dazzled and it gleamed. The light of solstice intensified. I never felt more at peace, when the moonlight beamed.
