Relapse

Relapse

A Poem by Andrea

The lingering feeling of a spark, after I kissed your lips.
I took another drink of the dazzling bliss.
The aroma of your cologne drew me in.
I felt a relapse with no possibility of an end.
The time lapsed over and over.
We were lost in dimensions.
We were stars in space.
I took a gaze in your eyes,
and my heart started to race.
I heard the snake slither.
He crawled over the apple's core.
I was led into sin and I knew
there would be plenty more.
I took from the tree, just as other humans would.
I thought I was taking a low dosage,
but I was taking more than I should.
Injection settled in my veins and I blacked out.
The darkness was enchanting.
I was embraced by the feeling of being high.
I kept dancing until I fell down on the grass,
under the beautiful night sky.
The comatose ignited a spark in my mind,
it engaged in the signals for a passing time.
But it corrupted me forever and I couldn't last.
I stopped and everything happened so fast.
No more again, should I take from fruits.
Never again will I drink your wine.
