It all started with waking up that day. Savannah's eyes slowly came to an open. In her waking view, she saw her red teddy bear laying on the other half of the bed. She sat up and felt groggy. She questioned to herself if she was the only fifteen year old to keep a teddy bear since childhood. "No, I'm sure a lot of people in this world do.", she quietly mumbled to herself. She knew it was a good idea to never throw away that bear. That bear was there to help her keep whatever remains of being a child felt like in her shaded memory. She stood up clumsily and almost fell. Savannah chuckled at the fact she almost tripped over her own two feet. She has always been clumsy having already broke two bones in her lifetime. The teenage girl changed out of her pajamas and into a plain, blue shirt and black leggings. It was a Saturday so she didn't care what she looked like because she wasn't going anywhere. Savannah welcomed her mother with a smile as she opened her bedroom door to the kitchen entrance. "Hi, mom! What are you cooking?" Savannah could smell an enchanting aroma coming from the stove. "Just whipping up breakfast, just like you ask almost every weekend." Her mom has a sarcastic, yet humorous response. Her mom was the type of person you could completely joke around with and she would be fine with it. "Well of course, silly mother." Savannah stuck at her tongue towards her mother. You could tell by their actions that they were best friends. Savannah starts helping her mom prep some of the food by getting spices out from the cupboard, such as cayenne pepper and garlic salt. Her mom had already made sausage and bacon. Savannah's favorite part of cooking was making eggs. She started to crack open one of them in the pan and she cracked another on the other side. She cooked them over easy. Savannah's preference of egg was with yoke.
