Summit

Summit

A Poem by Andrea
"

"The only way to reach the top, is to keep trying."

"
The lady in red wanted to explore the Earth's plains.
She kept adventuring in to the deep, deep cold.
In the distance, she spotted a mountain.
She started on her journey there to the Earth's glow.
No matter how many times she saw the scarlet blood when she fell,
she wanted to keep trying.
If she didn't wander now, she could possibly end up dying.
She had lost faith somewhere long ago.
The things she experienced, she couldn't explain.
Those were things that were buried under all of this snow.
Eventually, she was close to the top of the hill.
She almost gave up with rocks piercing her hands.
The blood just kept coming down.
In the end, she thought she was going to faint.
But she got back up and fought the pain.
She reached the top, where there was sunshine and no more rain.
Now, at the summit, her hand was raised.
