The March of Rhyme

The March of Rhyme

A Poem by Rose Petite
"

A poem decribing the poems we see in life everyday

"
A springtime poem is a wonderful thing,
Birds are flying with their cute little wings,
Crows picking up anything that has bling,
Yes a springtime poem is a wonderful thing.

It's not so much a poem if you think about the words,
It's more like every rhyme, is a creature, like the birds,
and the rabbits and the cats and the cows in every herd,
See it's not so much a poem if you only think about the words.

It's Leprechaun season and the greens all around,
the grass and the flowers growing up from the pound,
Farmers are selling their seed by the pound,
Yup it's leprechaun season and the green's all around.

Now you see how a poem really doesn't have to rhyme,
The animals and plants all still have that marching time,
But it's the end of my poem, yes it's time to say goodbye,
And now you know, there are poems, that don't really have to rhyme.
