Witch Amoung You

Witch Amoung You

A Poem by FireMedicine

Imagine:
Zoom out
Remove Your self
Rise above
Aerial view
What do you see?

I see self-made prisons
Lives lived in self-made confinement of fear
Grappling to hold onto anything
Possession of greed feeding on others to fill
Empty selves

Fear of facing the stillness that lay beyond it all

Passive aggressive sarcasm
Daemons behind the eyes with devilish grins
When one thinks they have, in some way, beaten me

Attempts to pacify the raw, honest, and tragic truth of pain with compulsive behaviors stemming from anxiety
Anything to gain ground in a groundless world

Passivity attempting to move how he thinks his world wants him to
Too scared to fully be there
As he is

Bitterness at who she perceives me to be
As I speak my truth
Spark of revelation in her eyes as she meets mine
Inferno of hell in their depths as a devilish grin came to her lips
As if to say:
This is war

Still above
Gaze held and let go
Psychically speaking:
The only way to win is to not play the game;
Instead Live
