Fading to Black

Fading to Black

A Poem by Jessica

One of these days,
you're going to be looking.
You wont like what you find.
The old girl is gone;
Replaced with a ticking time bomb
of a woman.
I'm letting you go.
Slowly.
Fading to black.

Pros: For some odd reason, this poem made me grin. I love the story here! I can't quite explain it, oh but I wish I could. It just....appeals to me. A lot. I like that you have it centered. Some poems should be centered, some shouldn't. This one should. The abruptness of the sentences is nice, and the entire thing flows in this interesting, ticking sort of way :)

Cons: None whatsoever.

Overall: This is being added to my favorites.
