Depression

Depression

A Poem by Jessica

Such a bittersweet disease

You let go, don't care

but you're breaking.

You sleep all the time,

and cry while no one sees.

You forget about the world

and sink into your mind

While you're there

you're deaf and you're blind

You can't feel or speak

Just fall asleep

as you dream of soft kisses on your cheeks

and flowers in your hair.
