Imagining A Window

Imagining A Window

A Poem by Jessica
"

Just a little something I came up with since I can't see outside my window.

"

I imagine big blue skies
And grass, green
Lit by the sun's rays
Warmth
Spreading across the Earth

Freshly cut hay,
Scattered in our field
Framed by tall grass
Yet to be touched
By a lawnmower's blade

Dogs barking
At deers moving in the woods
Light breezes
Moving the trees
Swaying, waving at me

I cannot see this
My window is blocked
All I see is White
White Metal and screws
A packing trailer, unused still

One day, it will be gone

And I will see my blue skies again.

This is very done in the descriptions you use to express the mood and deep reflections.
