Missing You

Missing You

A Poem by Jessica

Your kiss lingers on my lips
As the weeks pass by
Minutes feel like hours;
Hours feel like years;
Months feel like centries.

Your touch left a remaining fire on my skin
That has yet to fade
My cheeks still burn
When I think of your smile
Only a month left, dear

One month of torture
One month of agony
One month of staying up on the phone
Only to wake in the morning
To find that you aren't here
