The Summer of Memories

The Summer of Memories

A Poem by Jessica

The warm summer breeze floating
Through my brown hair
The sun brings out freckles on my knees
But this is too much to bare
Reality is making its way to me
It isn't fair.
This has only just begun
And it's being taken from me
In the blink of an eye
He's fading into the crowd
Of eager students
Ready for summer
Ready for a break
Not us
I'm not ready
For the summer of only memories

I love this one but I don't like that you were sad... But everything is working out quite nicely ;)

Well, I'm a high school student that writes whenever the mood strikes. I haven't been on much lately, mainly because I've just simply been too busy with other things. But I get on when I can and r.. more..
