Melancholy, Lovely

Melancholy, Lovely

A Poem by Jessica
"

A poem about wanting what you can't have anymore

"
Melancholy
Lovely
Beautiful disaster

Clear tears drip to the ground
I'm worrying about you
Mourning my love for you

Lick away my saltine tears
Taste my fear
Only of loseing you forever, my dear

Don't fade
Don't leave me
My love, my only

I only wish for you to hold me
Forever and for eternity
Never let me go

Can you be a part
Of this bittersweet life of mine
Are you willing to give up so much for me?

Prove to me that you are worthy
To touch the steel petals
Of this torn rose

Oh wow... I definately like the ending...

i am feeling that "prove yourself" and "Please stay" feeling constantly... And this poem is one of those that can cause you to tear up because you can see yourself in it and look at yourself in third person...

Excellent work

Omigosh! This is so good! Your style kind of reminds me of Emily Dickinson.
