Bittersweet enemy

Again, more free verse poetry. It's a little scattered in my view, but its about how I feel about someone right now.

I can't say
I've ever felt this way
I must love you

To keep coming back
Like I do
To put up with your s**t
Like I do
To laugh at your dark humor
Like I do

No matter how bad you hurt me
You will be my bandage
No matter how deep you cut me
You will be my stitches
No matter how much you break me
You will be my bond

I'll always come back
And I can't explain

No matter how many texts you send
I'll always reply
No matter how badly it still hurts
I'll still heal
No matter how they criticize
I won't listen

Everything becomes a blur
When you come into my vision
Like the world is covered in opaque glass
And only we are immune
But it's still like I'm invisible
Or maybe it's just me again
Praying for something that may never come

I know this isn't really that good. I am scatterbrained and I felt like pouring my feelings and thoughts into a weird poem.

I like this. The work speaks to the often dual nature of love and hate. I didn't find the thoughts scattered at all. Poetry is all about exploring yourself as well as your outward observations. You take us inside nicely here.
