Fears

Fears

A Poem by FireFox9
"

Honestly I wrote this based off a dream/nightmare I had and wrote it in a few minutes.

"
Would you miss me when I leave
Would you miss my smile
Would you miss my eyes
Would you even miss me at all

This all floats in my head as I leave
My fears that may become reality
And my nightmares that may become true
Could my fears be unnecessary

When I return will you be here
Waiting for me with joyful tears
Or will you be gone without a trace
And leave me to my lonely fate
Will you even miss me?

Very nice write, Matt. Thank you for submitting it for us to read.

That feeling of being forsaken is one of the most base fears of man, so naturally it is a great topic to address. Your final line in particular, while simple, strikes hard. Keep up the good work.
