The Dark and the LightA Poem by FireFox9
Life and death go hand in hand
For without life there is no hope And without death life is eternal Both are needed to keep balance Without death, life becomes an everlasting battle No reprieve, no laughter, no joy All that is left are the horrors of the world Sorrow, pain, and misery is all that remains But what about life, is it wasted on us Some will say, yes, we abuse our lives Others say, nay, we choose our own path But in the end without life what is left in this world? In this world that we created In this world that we destroyed What have I done? What have we done? © 2014 FireFox9Reviews
