Why?

I'm not sure what to say about this one...It's me asking some questions that I'm sure many people wonder about. Hope you enjoy.

 

 

 

Why?

 

Why do some cry while others laugh?

Why are some rich while others can't afford food?

Why are some gentle while others kill?

Why do some live happily ever after while others lose the one they love the most?

Why do people freely lie while others can't bare the thought of lying?

 

Why?

 

These are some questions I often ask myself.

Are there answers to them?

I'm not sure.

I don't think anyone really knows how fate decides these things.

 

But....

 

Life can still go on.

No matter how bad things get, you're still here.

You've made it this far, why would you stop fighting now?

You have your entire life ahead of you.

Love...happiness...a spouse...children...grandchildren...

They're all waiting for you.

Poem is amazing. We made our decision in a life. We must live with them also. I believe people who live well and are kind have family and friends surrounding them till death. The greedy and hateful died alone and wishing for a better choices made in a life. A excellent poem. Goal of a writer. Made the reader think. You did.

as I read this I knew that the person writing it was very young...then I saw your pic and that confirmed it--a beautiful young woman. this is not a criticism--I just see a youthfulness in your writing. being a mom and having just experienced the death of a close friend, I see things from a different perspective. I agree that I still have my whole life ahead of me--STILL--haha--but do you get what I'm saying?

That was my favorite bit, i like how it encompasses your own thoughts, but the reader know everyone has the same general questions, yet we think we're alone. This is GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
