Morning StarA Poem by Fire&Rayne-Devil-They
sat with halos above their heads. Their thoughts so
pure and white. Their wing curved so
perfectly, They sing through
the darkest night. One angel, Morning
Star, see's his Lord's creations.
And shuns them all. They shall not
better him, ever. But 'twas his pride
before his fall. He was perfect 'til
that time, He was needed by the
Creator, But at that moment
he turned, He became a hater, a
traitor. Banished from
heaven, Down, far down he
fell. And from the ruined
angels, Spewed forth hell. Bloodied and
tattered wings Fire, ashes, hatred
and pain, Hell's wide open
gates, Drive many angels
insane, They begged of
Satan, O mighty, O Bright Star, close
the gates, Let in only those
who serve you, Lie to many and
change their fates. The devil became the
tempter, The snake, the
dragon, a king. He lied, cheated,
fought and stole, He deprived many of
everything. He was a law unto
his self, Minions by the
million, He tempted
humanity, In a way
so reptilian. He reins over a dead
land, A burning pit of
souls, Yet we don't know,
for sure, How many he
controls. Many with greed and
lust, Would make a deal
with him, And most to all
would die, In ways so very
grim. Their trade was
done, Satan had his
hold, And was free to
torture Their trapped
souls. © 2011 Fire&RayneReviews
