A RingA Poem by Fio_casMany of us love wearing rings. Some for fashion but others as a commitment. Not all of us will be knowing the value/importance of such a tiny object which I hope I can justify in my writing.
A thing so small, yet so powerful,
Bearer of a million untold feelings. Sign of true love, a weapon of protection, Return of which can break weddings. Worn by countless, young and old, Never fails to appeal anyone. Made from the costliest metals ever sold, To symbolize a new life's beginning. Always acts as a reminder of someone, Since its a container of beautiful memories. Weighs heavy with longing for a loved one, Something so precious cannot be found in treasuries. Beauty of an object so small is indescribable, Each time we lose it we panic, Sometimes its the only thing that keeps a marriage stable, Even broken hearts preserve it. © 2017 Fio_cas |
