soft shoes

soft shoes

A Poem by Sane Betwixt

Walking along singing sad songs

Crumpled like a note in someone’s pocket

Smoking cheap cigarettes dressed in

Red here she comes all dressed in

Black exploiting prostitutes in

Ukrainian that’s probably true

But the few who stood vacant

In soft shoes Forgot to lock a box

Inside a box inside a box of soft shoes

Now that we have been listening to

1thousand years of blank space

Feeling detached cut off head

Debt don’t owe nobody

Except the cards I owe my life to

For what worth can’t remember

Hate December drinking flasks full of spiders

Not giving a f**k about innocent bystanders

F**k innocent bystanders.
