A HumanA Poem by TrangThis poem is free-verse and I wrote it for my baby cousin when he was born.An alien enters the world for the first time, Seeing, hearing, touching, breathing for the first time, Another member of the family is born. The infant is helpless and weak, but is constantly being worshipped. The toddler is curious, always exploring and learning; he is braver than the bravest man. The child is pure, completing good deeds and seeking for praise. The teenager is hunger, relentlessly craving for success, talents, and love; but is never satisfied. The adult is the same. He is helpless in times of need. He is curious, constantly searching for knowledege. He is pure, helping those less fortunate than him. He is hunger, always wanting and searching for power. Every human lives a different life and is unique, But the final experience is the same for everyone, To be adored by others for the matchless life they've lived. © 2009 TrangAuthor's Note
